In response to the growing challenges facing agriculture including climate change, soil degradation, rising input costs, and threats to biodiversity, URBANET organized a two-day training workshop focused on agroecology.
The training brought together key stakeholders from across the agricultural sector to explore sustainable, ecologically grounded solutions. Its primary objective was to enhance participants’ understanding of agroecological practices and how these approaches can contribute to a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable agricultural future.
Beyond technical learning, the workshop also served as a platform for experience-sharing, peer learning, and the strengthening of institutional collaboration across the sector.
URBANET’s initiative highlights the increasing recognition that transforming agriculture requires a collective commitment to innovation, sustainability, and working in harmony with nature.
